Standard Home Inspection

I follow a comprehensive Residential Standards of Practice. This means that I’ll inspect the visible and accessible structure, systems and components of the home, inside and out, from the foundation to the roof, using the latest tools and technology.

Move-In Inspection

Are you selling your home? Let me inspect it before you even list it. A Move-In Certified® Seller’s Inspection alerts you to any defects or problems with your home so that you can address them before prospective buyers discover them. You can then take the time you need to obtain reasonable repair estimates. Avoid 11th-hour negotiations and delays, and justify your full asking price by having your home for sale inspected now.

Roof Inspection

Do you need just a roof inspection performed for insurance or other purposes? I will perform a standalone Roof Inspection & Certification and evaluate your roof from the eaves, as well as walk it (when it is safe to do so) to assess its overall condition, including the presence and status of flashing, chimneys, vents, skylights, and other penetrations.

We Inspect Your Home as if It Were Our Own

Meet Your Inspector

Hi, my name is Michael Bond.

With Midiowa Consulting Inspection, LLC, you are choosing a certified professional who provides high-quality home inspection services with a background in construction, and 15 years of experience in Property Maintenance. I have been doing code inspections since 2003. I traveled to Florida after Hurricane Wilma, and Baton Rouge after Hurricane Katrina.

My home inspection experience is inclusive. I highly encourage you to join me during the inspection, and to ask questions as you go. Having you with me on the inspection also gives an opportunity to provide you with tips on home care and maintenance. For instance, you can learn how to change the furnace filter, turn off the water, gas, and electricity in an emergency.

A home inspection is valuable, but unless the experience is well-documented, most people won’t remember all the important details. That’s why I provide a comprehensive written report to serve as your guide for as long as you own the home. It not only describes the house components and their condition, but also provides insight into what improvements will be necessary, and when.

My report can also help you set up a home maintenance program to take care of one of the most significant investments most people make. My goal is to ensure that you can live safely, comfortably, and efficiently in your new home.
